I started the marketplace to collect stories from people I know and admire who are living diverse experiences. With the conviction that one does not need to be in a position of “leader” to influence and practice leadership, I asked my friends to clarify what they had learned. KNOW YOURSELF came first. Below you will find other highlights from the wisdom they shared, along with links to their full articles.

With luck, vaccine, good health and economic measures, we will have the chance to re-start our lives and reconnect face to face. With that in mind, the first article of 2021 will be Seven Lessons in Re-integrating Soldiers In-Between and After Forward Deployments by Allegra Jordan, the Executive Director of the Rick Herrema Foundation from 2017 to 2020. What do we need to know about re-integrating with others? How do we recognize effective teams and what do you do when they are not? How can you participate in creating positive change without being in charge? What is trust and how do we earn it? And, if 2021 demands further change and adaptation from us, how do we do it effectively?
If you have a story to tell, please let me know. My agenda is to offer stories from people whose names seldom appear in the media and whose leadership has already made a difference. Please let me know if you are one of them. I want your story.
